With years of experience in the childcare industry and a BA in psychology, owner Patrice Arminio noticed the lack of knowledge there was for sensory play. During the 2020 pandemic she took to social media to share her ideas for sensory play from play with her children, and it blossomed into the beautiful mess known as The STEMsory Experience. 

Sensory play is a fundamental aspect to child development and hones in on various components of learning.  Language development, problem solving skills and sparking creativity are a few components sensory play builds upon.
